Privacy Policy

We collect zero personal data

All app data lives in your device's local sandbox. Nothing is sent, uploaded or synced to our servers. We have no backend, no database, no cloud accounts. Your code, Git repos, SSH private keys and terminal history stay on your iPad.

Data scope

The app may store the following on your device:

• Code files you create or clone (in the app sandbox or paths you grant via Files)
• Git config: user.name / user.email / remote URLs / branches you select
• SSH connection settings (host / port / username) — private keys live in iOS Keychain, encrypted at rest
• Theme, font, Vim mode and editor preferences

Everything above is stored on your device. iCloud Sync is on by default (you can turn it off in Settings at any time): while it's on, your editor, terminal and appearance preferences, AI service settings (including custom server URLs and system prompts, never API keys), code snippets and custom shortcuts sync between your devices through your own iCloud. SSH private keys, Git credentials and AI keys stay on this device only and never sync. The app uploads no files to our servers.

Permissions

The app requests permissions only when needed:

App outbound connections

On-device first. Outbound connections only happen on explicit user action: (1) Git push / pull / clone to remotes you specify (GitHub / GitLab / self-hosted); (2) SSH to hosts you specify; (3) Live Preview's local server is only for the app's built-in browser and is not opened to your local network; (4) what you type into AI chat is sent straight from your device to the AI service you chose (OpenAI / Anthropic / Google / DeepSeek / Groq / xAI / Mistral / OpenRouter / Ollama / Zhipu / Minimax / custom endpoint), never through Weiminet — see each service's privacy policy for how it handles your data. No ads, no analytics, no tracking (no Google Analytics / Firebase / Meta SDK). Bundled Python / Node / PHP / Clang / OpenJDK run fully offline. Apple App Store handles distribution and the one-time NT$60 unlock payment; payment data is handled by Apple — the app never sees your card. The App Store keeps your free-trial and unlock records under your Apple ID; to stop the trial being stretched by changing the device clock, the app stores the last time you used it in your iCloud (iCloud Key-Value Store, synced and encrypted by Apple under your Apple ID). Weiminet cannot access your iCloud content.

Data deletion

You can remove the app's data at any time: uninstalling removes the files and settings in the app's sandbox. SSH private keys, Git credentials and AI API keys live in the iOS Keychain and may remain after the app is deleted, so delete your remote hosts, Git credentials and AI keys in the app first, then uninstall. iCloud Sync is on by default, so preferences synced to iCloud stay in your iCloud account.

Third-party services used by the site

This site's connection and security protection are provided by Cloudflare, and notification emails from the contact form are sent through Postmark / Resend. These services only handle what is needed to show the site and send mail, and never touch the data the app keeps on your device.
